Thanks to the innovative 'Entry Technique Training for Police and Justice Staff',
developed by ETCB, police and justice departments can save millions.
This groundbreaking training, led by instructors with over 20 years of hands-on experience in opening doors for the police, virtually eliminates the need for battering rams or locksmith services. The Rotterdam officer who introduced this concept within the police force and advocated for ETCB training even won the 2015 "Good Idea Award," including a €1,000 prize. This officer successfully completed the training at ETCB and subsequently launched the PSO project (Police Lock Support), demonstrating that progress is within reach.
Using trained professionals drastically reduces the use of traditional battering rams. This not only leads to significant cost savings, but also prevents unnecessary damage and improves entry efficiency.
Over the years, our instructors have made major improvements to the standard PSO. These include the use of more advanced and smarter techniques, allowing for quicker and less destructive entries. Participants also receive training in identifying and solving possible complications, enabling them to make informed decisions in every situation.
Program – Entry Technique Training for Police & Justice
A hands-on training where professionals learn to open doors quickly, safely, and with minimal damage — even in high-security situations. This training focuses on mastering techniques for all types of locks, as not every neighborhood or region uses the same locking systems. Both destructive and non-destructive methods are taught.
🔑 Lock Type Techniques
Opening cylinder locks (including high-security cylinders like SKG3 – commonly used in the Netherlands)
You will learn both basic and advanced techniques to open cylinder locks. Special attention is given to high-security cylinders like SKG3 and anti-pull fittings, common in the Netherlands. Similar cylinders from other countries are also covered. Scenarios where pulling or drilling is not possible are addressed as well. The emphasis is on controlled and minimally damaging approaches.
