Special Intervention Service (DSI) Training

In the field of special interventions, precision, speed, and safety are essential. Threats are becoming more complex, situations evolve rapidly, and the need for highly trained intervention teams is greater than ever.

ETCB’s “Entry Techniques Training,” originally developed for the elite units of the Dutch Special Intervention Service (DSI), takes these crucial skills to the next level. Our approach combines decades of operational experience with the latest developments in tactics, technology, and safety procedures.

Led by instructors with over twenty years of field experience, this training offers practical skills for Arrest and Support Units (AOE), the Intervention Unit (UI), the Marine Intervention Unit (UIM), and the Unit for Expertise and Operational Support (UE&OO).

During the training, participants learn:

  • Advanced methods for fast and controlled building entry,

  • Techniques for opening doors and entry points with no or minimal damage,

  • Correct use of the latest technological tools,

  • Identification and neutralization of threats such as boobytraps and other hazards.

The training is designed to ensure the safety of team members, bystanders, and suspects under even the most challenging circumstances – without compromising speed or precision.

Although originally designed for the Dutch DSI, this training is highly suitable for other elite units worldwide, such as:

  • SEK and GSG9 in Germany,

  • RAID and GIGN in France,

  • DSU and POSA teams in Belgium,

  • CTSFO units in the United Kingdom.

By choosing this tailored training from ETCB, you invest in the knowledge, skills, and safety of your team – boosting their effectiveness in today’s and tomorrow’s most critical situations.
