Security & Installation Training

For installers and as a follow-up to Opening Technique
This hands-on training is designed for two main groups:
� Installers of electronic security systems (e.g. cameras, alarms, intercom or access control) who want to also provide secure mechanical locking systems
� Participants who have completed an opening technique training and want to expand their skills in evaluating, placing and advising on mechanical security

In this training, you will learn how to professionally assess and install locks, cylinders, hardware, and strike plates in accordance with current safety regulations.
Note: this training does not include opening techniques and is intended as a follow-up.

What you will learn

  • Assessing existing locks and cylinders for safety

  • Understanding SKG certifications, anti-core pulling protection, and PKVW guidelines

  • Installing mortise, rim, and additional locks

  • Correct installation of security fittings, profile cylinders, and strike plates

  • Routing locks into doors according to professional standards

  • Advising clients professionally and clearly

  • Sales-boosting advice: help your customer while offering smart added-value solutions

  • Duration: 1 day (09:00 – 16:00)

  • Includes all tools and equipment

  • Includes lunch, coffee, tea, and soft drinks

  • Certificate of participation included

SKN recognition possible

If you combine this training with an opening technique training, or have completed the full Locksmith Training, you may qualify for recognition through Slotenmakers Keurmerk Nederland (SKN).
